How often have you fumbled with your remote control in the dark trying to change channels with its tiny buttons or try to lower the volume when the phone rings but hit the up button instead. Samsung has just solved your problem. Say goodbye to remote controls. Samsung will be unveiling its new range of Smart TVs at the 2014 CES in Las Vegas that has motion and voice control!
Samsung already offers limited motion control TVs but the 2014 models with “finger gesture” feature is a significant improvement. You can change channels, adjust volume and select what you want using only finger gestures. Samsung has also made it easy for movie watching. You can stop, rewind or fast forward by moving your fingers in an intuitive manner, for example counter-clockwise for rewinding. How cool indeed.
If your fingers are multi-tasking swiping the tablet for the latest news, no worries. Just saying the commands aloud will also work. Voice interaction features has been greatly improved, according to Samsung. Frequently used functions like channel surfing, opening apps, and searching for movie content are easier to use. You can even search for the latest scores of your favorite team playing.
So lookout for these new Samsung Smart TVs to come on stream in 2014 including its new 105-inch curved UltraHD TV which will also be on display at the CES.
